Housing and Meals
We are happy to offer an all-inclusive housing and meal plan for our composition fellows. The plan covers the duration of the program, and includes two meals per day for eight days, and single-occupancy accommodation for nine nights. In addition, as part of the package, we include one roundtrip airport/railway transfer to Alba from and to Turin (transfers to/from Milan may also be arranged).
Meals
As Alba is located in a region well-known for its cuisine, and eating in the restaurants of the town is an especially rich experience, socially and gastronomically. For each full day of in residence (8 days), program fellows in the meal plan will be issued meal vouchers which may be redeemed at any one of a several fine participating restaurants in the old city, such as Vin Café, Osteria Era Nuova, and Pizzaria La Duchessa. The plan also includes lunch tickets during weekdays in the local civic communale cafeteria.
A buffet breakfast is included at the hotel.
Accommodation
Housing is provided at the Il Seminario, a bed and breakfast located in an old seminary within walking distance the concert venues, classroom building, and restaurants. All accommodations are single occupancy with a private bath and breakfast and will cover the duration of the program for nine (9) nights.
Participants wishing to bring a partner/spouse, or wish to arrange an extended stay beyond the scope of the program may do so for an additional charge.
